Has “You won’t break my soul” become your work mantra?

We all have the right to change the course of our lives and pursue a path to greater fulfillment. But this is easier said than done when we’re too stressed to imagine what’s possible. Or when we feel shackled by obligations, expectations, and fear of change.

That’s why Freedom Seekers taps into the stories and tactics of ancestors who traveled the Underground Railroad and immigrants who left their homelands, courageously navigating uncharted territory in search of something better.

As your coach, I’ll help you create a “Freedom Plan,” identifying what you need to thrive, while answering tough questions that need answering:

  • What does freedom mean to you, and what are you seeking freedom from?

  • What resources do you need to get where you want to go?

  • Who are the allies and abolitionists in your life that can help open doors?

  • What are you willing to sacrifice for the change you desire?

Whether you’re changing jobs, striking out on your own, or planning for the future, now is the time to figure out the steps between where you are and where you want to be.

Who’s this for?

Freedom Seekers brings together artists, creatives, storytellers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, and others seeking change in their work lives.

If you can relate to any of these, this coaching container might be right for you:

  • You want to be thoughtful about your next job or career move.

  • You’re too burned out to think beyond the situation you’re in.

  • You’re overwhelmed by the idea of figuring out what’s next for you.

  • You’re in an unfulfilling job or stuck in career limbo.

  • You want out of a predominantly white workspace or work culture.

  • Your health is suffering due to a toxic work environment.

  • You crave connection and space to evolve with other women who understand where you’re coming from.

What will I get?

Hi. I’m Nicole.

I’m a certified health coach specializing in stress and burnout. I’ve helped numerous people plan for what’s next during tough times in their lives.

If you’re looking for a coach who understands transitions, you’re in the right place.

Over the course of my career, I’ve moved up and out of nonprofits, freelanced my way through a recession, worked in a Fortune 100 cubicle, and stepped off the proverbial job cliff without a plan.

Every move has taught me valuable lessons about preparation, purpose, and self-determination. While I may not have all the answers, I’ll share everything I know.

Not sure this is right for you? Drop me a note and let’s set up a time to talk.

What my clients are saying

“Nicole’s feedback is clear-eyed, insightful, optimistic, and generous. She is an empathetic listener who truly cares about her client’s success. I felt seen and supported in ways that I haven’t previously, and this propelled me forward with optimism after each session. You will feel buoyed, supported, seen, and excited about your future!” —Naomi

“Nicole was extremely helpful in getting me to think about tackling one thing at a time, making small changes over time that became lasting. I felt accountable to Nicole during our work together in a way that didn't feel pressurizing or negative, but rather in knowing that ultimately the accountability and willingness to experiment, improve, and change is with myself.” —Jennifer

“Nicole was a true gift from the universe when I needed support most. After a year of just managing through the pandemic, I was ready to move forward. I was ready to go beyond the limitations of what I could only see for myself. Nicole became that bridge for me very quickly. She offered an intentionally safe and inquisitive space for me to grow. Her questions caused me to think deeply and offered me room to question myself from a place of deep love and gratitude versus anxiety and worry . . . She was a phenomenal coach.” —Amatullah

  • Nope, and here’s why:

Reason #1: One of the benefits of this program is the live conversations. I want you to be present to yourself and each other rather than extracting information from recordings. Please plan to attend the group calls to get the most from this experience.

Reason #2: I do my best to create a safe space where we can speak freely about our jobs and lived experiences, but that can’t happen when our conversations are recorded. If you miss a session, I will provide excellent but edited notes.
